History
The Kynda are a race of sentient plants who make their home in the Endless Forest. They are a young race, the oldest of their number a mere thousand years old. They are keenly aware of their own newness, and are full of desire to make their mark upon the world. This, along with the short lifespans among their most populous members, have formed the Kynda civilization into one to fear: driven, united, and eager to spread.
Life Stages
The Kynda exist in three distinct life stages. The most numerous of their race, the Seeds, are humanoid in design, but often have non-human features. Tails, horns of all varieties, and claws are all common. They wield implements of stone, bone, wood, and crystal. They grow from birth to maturity in a season, and live between 4 and 7 years. They drop from the Grove trees in pods, and are taken to the nursery where they are removed and reared. After a season, they are integrated into Kynda society. Seeds form between 80 and 90% of the living Kynda population at any given time.
