Enter Ardua, a wild, ancient land
pulsing with forgotten magic.

Luminous is a complete card game that is anything but limited.

Accessible

When you buy a Faction, you get everything

We aim to be the most affordable competitive card game on the market. One of the core pillars of Luminous Card Game is to make sure that you get everything you need to be able to compete at the highest level without having to break the bank.

That means that when you purchase any Faction or Wanderers product, you get everything you need to play a top tier deck. Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new, you’re on a level playing field when it comes to the cards you have access to from minute one.

Collectibility

Cosmetic packs for stunting on the homies

While you don’t need to crack packs to get the cards you need to compete, we all understand that it’s just fun! We wanted to ensure that people had the opportunity to trade and collect Luminous cards, even if it’s not necessary to play. With that in mind, we're creating collector booster packs.

Each product includes 1 collector pack right away, and each pack consists of foil, alternate art, alternate treatments, full arts, and special rares. If you want to bling out your deck and have special versions of every card to trade and collect, you can. It’s just not necessary to enter play.

No AI

Beautiful art created by humans

Luminous Games is committed to never using generative AI in any product. Ever.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have already worked with amazing artists from all over the world, and are excited to continue to build those relationships and support artists forever.

Organized Play

Committed to the FLGS scene

We’re a bunch of card game players who got to know each other because of our local game store, so we’re committed to doing everything we can to support those same stores. We’re going to ensure that organized play is well structured with prize promos distributed at all levels of play.

We can't wait to see ya'll at some events soon!

Lore

An original setting to explore

Rather than building from an existing IP, we've created an entirely new world to serve as the stage for Luminous. Each Faction set will draw you further into the stories waiting to be discovered in the continent of Ardua.

Come on the journey to see our world grow and change over the course of time.

How to play

Each player uses a 50 card deck consisting of units, spells, and relics to reduce their opponent's life total to 0. Cards are played using orbs, with players gaining one extra orb to use each turn. Players can play cards, attack with creatures, or play their orbs in any order they choose on their turn – this freeform turn allows for combat tricks and cat-and-mouse style back and forths to take center stage.
